I wish the Compito family strength and love, qualities your mother had in abundance. She was an amazing woman who raised four outstanding and gifted children in a country where the language and customs were not her own. She was kind and giving, while retaining her backbone of steel. She was funny in two languages. I’m richer for having known her, and my love and sympathy goes out to all of you for what must be a deep, deep grief.
